I don't see anything wrong with liking Lelouch/Suzaku and Lelouch/Rolo. Me, I just want Lelouch to be happy. ♥

I kind of wanted a world in which Lelouch and Nunnally and Rolo all lived together as ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY. ♥ Nunnally would go, "ONIISAN I ALWAYS WANTED A LITTLE BROTHER ♥" and Lelouch would be, "... well, if that's what Nunnally-chan wants," and Rolo would damn well learn to share.

Uh, I hated Suzaku a lot, until towards the end of R2. And that's because I saw this scene in Episode 21:

I started following Code Geass R2 back in June, when Reborn was going too slowly for my liking. And it just so happens that Geass belongs in the category of, "The viewers are but toys in the hands of Sunrise, and Goro plays with us all for sport". Geass should come with a warning that says: Cliffhanger, Playing-Mind-Games-With-Viewers, Constant Heart-Breakage Expected.

I still don't regret it.

I have several very specific character Types I like (they usually come in two categories: the Cute Idiot, and the Cute Overprotective Obsessively-Loyal Character), but the other one I tend to have Instant Love for is the Small, Cute Thing with the Nii-san Complex (see FFAC's Kadaj and GunXSword's Joshua Lundgren). So my Geass favouriite was not only completely unexpected, but also entirely predictable.

Turn 18, although quite literally killing-off the pairing, drew comments like: (all from Memento:

Meanwhile, Guilford is confused why he's fighting against Britannia but before he can change his mind again, Lelouch already makes him think that he's sexy, hot Cornelia. Lelouch has no one to blame but himself if one day Guilford comes to his room wanting some action.

Note: technically, if said action involved the removal of clothing, that wouldn't last very long: Lelouch appears to need to touch his collar for Guilford to think he's Cornelia. Unless he kept it on.

As for Rolo, he tells himself that he needs to get Nunnally....so he can kill her. For him, Lelouch's only family is him. Yikes. Fatal Attraction 2: My Brother is Mine is now an MBS Anime sequel for Code Geass.

Poor Rolo. Sometimes things which were yours don't always stay yours, whether due to outside action or the passage of time. Likewise, things which weren't yours (trouble, notably), sometimes, without your trying, become yours (to your misery).

Round about June, where Reborn was moving way too slowly for my liking (or should I say, I was not particularly interested in what was happening), I wandered off and discovered Code Geass: R2. I suppose it is enough to say that Code Geass is the kind of show with fanservice for audience on both sides of the gender divide, where even guy reviewers will have cause to wonder why Lelouch and Rolo's memories seem rather gay.

There is a Geass PSP game known as Lost Colours in existence, and the player is the protagonist: a silver-haired amnesiac who reminds me an awful lot of Tsunayoshi Sawada's explosive right-hand man. I am not joking. The best part is also that you get to choose any name you like for this character, so, heh. To tell you why he reminds me so much of Gokudera, though, I'll have to go into the spoilers, so:
